When you have done something wrong, you will definitely have some regret when you realize that it’s a mistake. It is appropriate and taught you the new lessons from your mistakes. But when you haven't done any thing wrong and still you have regret than what do you call it?

Firstly when this question arises in your mind, you start scrutinizing that weather your perception is right or wrong. Many times, it happens that person or thing is so much important for you that you always neglect their mistakes. But when you need to show them the red eye for their mistakes, you will internally feel bad because of the feelings towards them.

Like parents do not want to get angry on child. But for the betterment of their children’s future and to keep away from the bad habits, many times they have to take this kind of stance. Actually, at that time they internally feel bad while getting angry on the children. Similarly happens with our friends and you really feel bad.

Don't lie to your manager

There are many incidents in life which stay in your memory forever. One of the incidents I am writing here took place during my onsite assignment.

We were planning our chirstmas holidays. I had decided to go for a long trip to my uncle’s house. But at the last moment the trip was cancelled out and I had no choice left and stayed in the Calgary. I did not want to convey this to my manager thinking that may be he called us on work during holidays.

On the day before our Christmas vacation, we just went to our manager’s cabin and below conversation happened.

(The texts, which is written in bracket, are the thoughts running in my mind during conversation)

D: “Hello sir, we are going on holiday from tomorrow. We are here to wish you Happy Christmas and Happy New Year.” (Also, we gave him a card)

Manager: “You too, Guys…!! So what are your plans..? Are guys going outside the city?”

D: (murmuring internally … If I say no, than he will call me to the office during holidays. After all we are contractors.) “Yeah Sir, I am going to my uncle’s house in Boston.” …. (Though my plan was cancelled out)

Manager: “So, which flight are you taking?”

D: (Why is he doing investigation? God..!! I don’t know any airlines operating for Boston. May be he is not knowing either..!!. ….Let me give him any domestic airline’s name.) “Sir, I have booked my ticket for XYZ airline. I am taking tomorrow morning’s 7:30 flight.”

Manager: “Ohhh…!!! Are you sure? I am also boarding the same flight and going to Boston. See you tomorrow at the airport.”

D: (Ohhh Man …!!! Is that airline operating for Boston? Don’t tell me..!!! What should I say now? a bit tense I am !!...... Even my colleague is also looking at me with smirking face.) “Yeah…!! Sure Sir.” (I don’t have any other option)

After coming out of his cabin, I screamed “Oh God..!! Now what should I do?!! ” My colleague, who was standing near to me, was laughing like any thing on this incident. I was also worried that after vacation if he will catch me than “what will I say?” “Why is he going to Boston in the same flight? And I am not.”

“Thank God..!!” that my manager didn’t ask when we were back to office after vacation. Great relief…!!!

Always intending recognition for our actions..!!

Is the recognition of your act or work so important that we always intend it?

Agree that many times it boost your confidence and motivate us but not necessary that you always anticipate that.

I have observed many times that when you do activities with keeping in mind of recognition sometime it ends up in despair. Also, many times intending recognition make us choosy and you will intend to do only that kind of works/activities where you are hoping some recognition. Further on, we will start anticipating recognition even in small things.

But actually when you did some activity with your full interest and enjoyed it thoroughly than recognition part does not contribute as a bigger slice. I think that makes us innocuous when there is a lack of recognition.

Life on chances or with choices

What way we should live our life? On chances or with choices. Always confuse us many times, at least to me.

Living life with chances is very lucrative and attracts you tremendously. Day by day it increases the reliability on chances. On this path, our progress is measured on chances that we got. Also, on this path, many times we are taking stance that I don't have chance that's why I haven't done that. That might be considered as escaping attitude. It’s highly dependent on many things.

Whereas life with choices goes through the pavement which has many obstacles but gets you immense pleasure and satisfaction. But when our choices lead us in failure, it reminds us the way of chances. On this path your choices should be the right one.

It's very complex. I think that we all are living a mixture of both, aren't we? To select a choice also you need a chance and not necessary that we all get that chance.

“Every story has a happy ending”

“Every story has a happy ending.” - Somewhere I read it or might have heard from someone.

At first when you read it than it gives a feeling of wrong notion. Because, our practical life scenarios and reality support us in feeling that it looks good in imagination. Consider for a moment that it is true. So, “if the story is not ending in happiness than it is incomplete.”

Actually our lives, relationships are considered as stories - definitely for others.

Starvation for difficult problem

Solving the problems and experiencing difficult scenarios enrich you in many ways. One question here it is "if everyone is possessing similar level of intelligence than why only few people can solve the difficult problems." May be their starvation to solve difficult problems help them. While others are just sit back after solving easy problems. That freezes the intelligence and creativity. Solving difficult problems accelerate your speed on the way to greater heights. Sometimes failures occur and may plummet you in deep well but your attitude helps you to get back and reach the pinnacle of success. If you follow this path than in later stage the failure becomes innocuous to you.

Solve more difficult problem may help you in realizing intelligence if it is constant or might help you in its growth.

Music brought us together for humanity

Music – touches the soul, brings us serenity, spread the messages & feelings, inspires us and lots more. I had been to many musical concerts and live rock band performance for the entertainment purpose. But this concert was truly special as a great cause to help destitute people, who lost their home, families due to Bihar flood calamity. Wonderful initiative and venerable act to help the children who had been through this calamity few days back. Music was the reason to bring all of us together and to contribute direct and indirect way to support these already lifted helping hands. Also, it lit the fire and reminds us the responsibility of building a better nation for the next generation. What more I can say than this. It’s time to “Rock On”.

How are you?..!!!

A typical question usually we asked when we meet someone. And extremely typical answer to it is “I am gud" or "I am fine". How is that possible? How can it be possible that everyone is in the gud state all the time. Actually our mental state is very impulsive and change rapidly with the conditions or environment(except very few people). But still we answered that "I am gud or fine." I think that we might not aware about our mental system status or we do not want to answer correctly. Actually, perception of our mental system is really required.

I agree that we might not want to share the actual status when you meet someone first time. But when you are with your near or dear one you can share it. It is good if we actually know our mental state or share with others. It may help you.

We can be “not so good"," okie"," not bad", "not good and not bad" and many more.

Impression....!!!

Our day to day thoughts/activities are creating impression in our memory. Some impressions stay for a while or others have very long life. Now if the impressions are good than it bolsters us and recalling them brings a smile on our face. On other hand if the impressions are negative than they damage us in ample ways. It’s really worth if you lost these harshing impression from your memory. But memory lost is not in our hand. So other way is "Don't remember those things?" But you can't control the thoughts. So, as many times that negative thoughts come in your mind, you are making that impression thicker and thicker. Even trying to avoid that thoughts end up in making that impression more thick.

Only seeing one solution. Let the thoughts flow from your mind, don't tinkle them. If you do than they invade on you

First thought when you wake up..!!

First thought, when you wake up in the morning(not in afternoon :) ), decide how is the day will be. Is that true? I have observed many times. Below are my thoughts when i woke up.

  • What a great day? It is really a good morning – once in a year (very idealistic condition).
  • I still want to sleep more – (feeling very laziness and drowsy.)
  • What was my dream last night? was it the scary one? (Than it’s not possible) . Is it possible in reality? Yeah …!! (If it was a good dream)
  • Ohhh Man.. !! I don’t want to go to office. --- (many times)
  • Where is the newspaper?
  • Hey man..!! Don’t turnoff the fan...(when my friend turned off the fan to wake me up)
  • I will write a blog on this (he he he :) )

Omens

Do we really need to believe on them?

I read The Alchemist and he said that we all should know the language of the Omens. As mostly I don't abruptly believe on any book's philosophy. But this time it imbues me with some internal feelings that they do exist. They are presence to guide us. But somehow we are not able to understand their profound and convoluted language.

Just trying to relate with something. We have 4-5 options to do the things. You had tried one of the options. Actually, it’s most difficult and arduous task. But lack of confidence and focus put you in imbroglio and you ended with conclusion that it is not my battle. After that, trying other options ended in a big failure due to circumstances (everything is not in our hand). So, every door is closed and except one (which you have left earlier) from where luminous light is still emitting. Thinking, let us give a chance to Omens. If they are correctly deciphered than they will usher me to destiny.

Leaving everything aside, started running on that path which is actually full of obstacles. Just keeping one thing in mind "If Gods sends you down a strong path, may he give you strong shoes. Just need to look for that..!!!".

અજાણ્યો હ્રદય પ્રોટોકોલ(unknown heart protocol)

હસતા, રમતાં, ઝૂમતાં, કરતાં અમે કિલ્લોલ,
ભેગા મળી સૌ એ કર્યો રવિવારે કોલાહલ;

ત્યાં આવ્યો યાદ મને ભણવાનો એક પ્રોટોકોલ,
સદા કાને પહોંચાડે છે એ કોઈને કોઇનો કોલ;

રણકવતા નથી જ્યારે દિલથી દિલનાં એ કોલ,
કામનાં શું પછી આ કુત્રિમ પ્રોટોકોલ;

બધાં ને શીખવ્યો છે ઈશ્વરે આ એક પ્રોટોકોલ,
ના કરશો અજાણ્યો એ છે હ્રદય નો પ્રોટોકોલ;

~DP

Ended up in a stupid poem, while having ambiguity in protocol :)

Navaratri Nostalgia

Navaratri- festival of Ten Ratris :). All over the world, Gujaratis are well-known for their Navratri Garba. The celebration for this festival has started due to triumph of good over evil. Looking at the presence scenarios, sardonically speaking, we need more festivals as there are many evils around. Year on year, this festival celebration is getting very pompous and losing its actual prosperity. It lost its old taste of real Garba. Because there are media, filmy actors/singers and big banners have started involving and have started using all remix/filmy songs. It’s a good chance to see Garba in small-towns or villages where it's originality intact.
During Navaratri, in every society/sheri/galley, everyone gather at night time and offer Aarti to "Ambe Mata". After that there is a prasad distribution to all. During a hometown visit, I got a chance to attend Aarti. There is always a competition among children to participate in prasad distribution as to it’s a very applausive task for them. Looking at this children, reminds me childhood days. We actually had a very big gang in those days. During Navaratri, we made the small temple using clay and rocks, than decorated with different colors of lights, automatic fountain, established the idol of mataji and lot more. Indeed it’s a wonderful artwork. Also, we all were very enthusiastic in prasad distribution activity. After distribution to gathered people, we were going to each and every home in society for those who were not able to join for the Aarti. While moving from one home to another, we all children were eating up 2-3 prasad pieces as it’s just another kind of sweets for us. At times, it happened that it was a dinner for us when many different variety of prasad available :). It seems very naughty to others. But believe me at that time we were having great joy and fun when everyone from children gang involved. What a wonderful days of my life.. !!
Today while looking at these children, they seem to be very genuine and innocent, but you never know :)

A debt..Everyone should pay ...!!!

Geriatric people have lot to share with us and they are very didactic in nature. At times when you sit with them, they share their life experiences, accidents and elixir for their life. Some of their experience will be preaching for you and like to adhere in our own life.

Similar happened when I met my Grandpa (dada) this time. Expressing his own view about society. He told me that in this society, where we live, have truly participated in our breeding in many ways. At times, when we are stable in life, we should payback this debt. Sardonically, it’s not a mandatory debt as we are living cynicism society.

Thinking, what will be the best way to contribute to the society? Education to destitute children/people is one of the ways.

Expecting your views on this if you have any :)

Frightening medicine(pills)

While swallowing medicine pills reminds my childhood incident related to Fear. For me, fear is just a barrage- an artificial barrier. It is created by mind after experiencing events or impression from the outer world. Everybody has some kind of fear but the amount of impact varies from person to person. It depends on how we handle it. Its easy if we break the fearsome barrier in the inchoate statge ifself.

Fear can be of any type. Many kinds of phobias are defined in lexicon, but not this one. :). Being an urchin, it’s always difficult for my mom to make me to understand things. It was a tense situation for every parent, when their son or daughter was suffering from illness in the childhood. It exacerbated in my case because I had a fear of swallowing medicine pills. Literary it was an impossible task for me and sometime it appeared as a nightmare to me. I had a fear that "if I try to swallow the pills than I will vomit everything out." The same phobia put me in embarrassing situation when I was out of my home and sick.

Not able to recall that what was the catalyst that prepared my mind to overcome this fear. When I was get ready to take my first pill independently, I uttered internally "swallowing pills is very small task, if you can't do this than how will you do big things in life". Than I swallowed the first pill independently without vomiting out and I had a feeling of some achievement. I learnt a big lesson from this incidents that fight with your fear. If you fight than you have created a chance for victory.

All have heard the punch line of Mountain Dew’s advertisement “Darr Ke Aagey Jeet Hain" -Indeed true.

Digitization at (Tapari) Tea Stall

In our organization, there was a plan for digitization of learning cell courses. Those who are not aware about digitization than it’s a process of video recording of learning cell class-room sessions. So, new joiners’ can take this course online any time for their learning. I helped learning cell in digitization process by digitizing lecture on one topic. It was appreciated by the top level managers for my efforts and help to learning cell in overall ODC, although it was not so good. At that time, internally I uttered that it was a good accolade and established good impression in my immediate manager’s mind.

Here the question is “why am I telling all this?” Because below informal conversation depends on it.

After few days, I went to the tapari(roadside tea stall) for a tea very near to my office. There, I met my colleagues of previous projects – A1, A2. We had a below conversation.

D said: “How are you - A1, A2? How is your project work going on?”

A2 said: “As usual, you know that …right ..!! (He knew that I was working in same project before).

D said: “So what is at your end A1?”

A1 said: “Everything is going good. Who cares much? ..I am planning for a long vacation.”

D said: “Ohhh… Really that’s good!! I am sure that you have already informed your boss about vacation plan.” (Trying to pull his leg, as getting long leave is a problem)

A1 said: “No yaar !!… My boss is already there in Chennai. (A1 is from Chennai). He went for some digitization of learning cell “(Here digitization is same as I have explained earlier).

A2 said: “D knows about it. He had been to Chennai for digitization of one course.”

A1said: “ Ohh Great!!! Tell me one thing…This is the same process in which you have to scan your presentation slides which are on papers (hard copy). …Is that Right? …!! “

D said: “No… Man..(Just surprised .and laughing… lol …!! ) It is not the scanning of the papers. It is a video recording of the course. So, that other people can take the course online for their learning.”
(Suddenly lots of thoughts arise in my mind. By thinking logically, I am sure that he is not pulling my leg because for scanning the paper we don’t have to go all the way to Chennai. :) . Another thought is that “Which engineering degree is he holding?” “Does he know about digitization or not?” But looking at his position in organization, couldn’t dared to ask that….lol…. :) “)

On the way back to office, I was thinking that other associates might have similar thinking like “A1” than till now I was in fool’s paradise. “There is no need to be happy due to this accolade and praising.” In a moment, my all happiness vanished.
For my ease, I asked my cube mates that weather they know “what is digitization?” .. … “ahhhh …Thank GOD !!…at least they know that" :)

Keep Smiling...!!!

When an unknown person smiles at you, what makes you smile back?

It happens that sometime at workplace you have a big argument with your boss regarding work assignment etc... The similar is happened with me few days back. After this predicament, I was marching towards home with disgruntle mind which was still thinking about all those contentious argument. Suddenly I had an eye contact with someone and that person smiled. :) I forgot everything and just smiled back. Immediately, I looked at the sideways to make sure that the person smiled at me and not at someone else. Thank God…. no one was around :). Than, I tried to recall the face as if I have a good memory power. But after few attempts, I concluded that I didn’t know that person. Suddenly, something twinkles in my mind that what does that make me smile back at unknown person as I was actually in very anguish mood.

May be we always looking for cheerful and jovial moments. As soon as we saw it, we forget all our worries, miseries and start cherishing into it.

So Keep Smiling…!!!! :)

Surrounding external environment....!!!

Not directing you on natural environment, but here environment means friends, relatives, societies etc... with/where we live. Does it really make any difference that how the environment is? No idea..!! Actually speaking I never know in which way it affects us. Mostly everyone heard in childhood that keeps your friendship with good boys & girls in schools and in society. At that time, we never distinguish between what is good or bad. As a kid we just go in the environment which suits to us or the environment which adopt us.

Does the same thing applicable when we already grown-up? Generally, everyone has a feeling that it really makes a difference as people uttered frequently this proverb, "one spoiled mango spoils other mangoes in the barrel". Look at this in a different way. If the spoiled mango has no intension to spoil others, than...?

My view says that environment is just a requirement which only create lots of impressions on you. As a person it’s up to you that to allow them in your inner environment or not. Everyone has to make their inner environment very sturdy and unbreakable. Thinking if the same tendency adapted by the spoiled mango than least chances to ameliorate itself. Actually your inner environment is created by your inner voice, so it is pure and exquisite at its instantiation. Sometimes, it might be possible that a layer of dust settled due to external environment. So be in any environment, but listen to your inner voice. Little absurd but its true that sometime the Inner voice has nothing to say :-)
Anticipating your views on this... :)

Ignite your mind ...not lungs..!!

Few days back, I had been to one of the music concert and it was good. But troublesome part was that most of the teenagers and elders were smoking for the just sake of ostentation and representing themselves as coolest dudes. In concert, when the singer sang a song with the theme "Ignite your mind" and these people were ingniting their lungs by filling smoke. They were knowingly putting themselves in jeopardy. Smoking had affected me to such an extent that I couldn't inhale properly and came out of the concert in half an hour. Similary,in office also many associates smokes in the building's gallery just to stress out or may be for other reasons. It is extremely difficult for others to take breathe in building gallery.May be this kind of problem in mostly every offices. Smoking has been spreaded to such an extreme that we all turned into smokers. Not actively than passively. Already many things are burning in this world, why do you want to ignite more?

Investigation for the instantiation of something is what I like. I searched "who has started this smoking?" Briefly, smoking tobacco- the herb was used for healing purpose as medicine initially. Later on they have started using as substance to fill into cigarettes and bidi. Researcher has pointed that it’s originated by our one and only Uncle Sam and propagated in different countries. For India, we can give this credit to Portuguese.

Thanks to our health minister Ramadoss that he has already announced ban on smoking from 2nd October in some public places. It will be a splendid gift to Mr. Gandhi - The Father of Nation, if this ban is not converted into moratorium. To support health ministry in this excellent initiative, private sector companies should contribute. One of the idea is that companies should stop hiring people who is smoking? – definitely the company’s CEOs should be a nonsmoker :). Even we can also contribute to some extent through forcing our smoker friends, colleagues and relatives to quit smoking.

Unintentional cursing..sometime appear as reality..!!

Have you observed that when someone blasphemed or cursed you and it converted in actual reality? How is that possible? Do they possess any sovereign power to convert their own words into reality?

Here is real life example which happened with me few days back. On Friday evening, I was leaving for the railway station to catch the train and accidently I met my colleague in staircase of my office building. We had a small chat. Then, I said that "I am in a hurry and need to leave for station." He knew that biweekly I am going home. So, suddenly he said “yesterday the train was cancelled out due to some reason. May be today also it may happen than what will you do?" (He was laughing and trying to pull my leg ). I smiled back and continued with my journey towards station. As soon as I reached there, I have heard the announcement, "The train is cancelled ". That was really annoying situation for me. Immediately, I called up my colleague and asked him that did he know about train cancellation in well advance ? He said "No". Actually, he never cursed me deliberately. He is one of my well wishers.

Other similar incidents also happened with me. I have observing this from quite a long time but not able to find any absolute reason that why did it happen? May be it is just a coincident but when it happens, you can't resist yourself to curse that person back at least once...he he he :)

Slow Eaters...!!!

In life, we meet idiosyncratic people. Some people eat their food very fast while some eat it very slowly. It's one of my observation that people, who eat their food very slowly, are very intelligent, shrewd, smart, sharp, astute, wise, meticulous, quick-witted and a lot more. Not sure, it may be wrong also. Would like to know that is it related someway..?

I am sure that other way is not true. I mean the people who are smart, intelligent, shrewd.etc not necessarily eat their meals very slowly.

If this observation is true than let me know. I will start eating slowly. So people can use some of these good adjectives for me till they know reality :-)

Reason(કારણ) In Life

વહેલી પરોઢે ઝબકીને વિચારતો હું, ક્યાં મળશે આ કારણ;
Code લખી લખીને થાક્યો હું, શોધી રહ્યો છું કોઈ કારણ;
હતો જ્યારે નાનો મને લાગતું, ઈચ્છાઓ બનશે મારુ કારણ;
રહી બાજુ એ નીકળ્યો આગળ હું, ફરી શોધવા કોઈ કારણ;

તલ્લીન બધાં આ રસિક દુનિયામાં, નથી જોઈતું કોઈને કોઈ કારણ;
કહે નાં સમજ શોધીશ નહીં સૃષ્ટિમાં, આવવાનું નથી કોઈ કારણ;
દિશાઓ બદલી, જગ્યાઓ બદલી, શોધવા માટે મૈ કોઈ કારણ;
મળ્યો જવાબ પહેલીવાર જગમાં, મજબૂરી પણ છે એક કારણ;

હતી ચાહના મારી દિલમાં, બની જાય મારું એ કારણ;
જણાવી દીધું એને પલકારામાં, શોધી નથી સકતી મારામાં એ કારણ;
અંહિ પૂરી કરું છું મારી કવિતા, એક ઊંડા નિઃસાસા સાથે;
લાગી જવું છે મારે પણ દોડમાં, જોઈતું નથી હવે કોઈ કારણ;

Imagine unique religion...

Why do people deduce that their own religion is more superior and prosperious than others? Who has created a religion? -- questions arised because of some incident...

Someone has thought that if these sets of dogma and rituals are followed by people than it helps in creating community, brings people together and help in betterment of human life. But why they have created so many religions..? May be during humanity evolvement,Inhabitants from different regions or areas were not in contact with each others. So,they created dogmas for inhabitants in that regions.

But they never knew that after eons, their decedents are going to use religions as their own materialistic purpose, showing superiority and divide regions on basis of religions. Using a little envisagement, if they could have created only one religion across the world, might not lead us into troubles now. Might be absurd, but could be possible that Gurus or Gods of all the religions could have meet somewhere and finalize on unique religion. Also, they could have finalized the commandments and rituals that considered and followed under that unique religion.

Lets comeback in reality, because when things are already in placed than you can't demurred their instantiations rather put efforts to ameliorate it। Thinking that if every religion has same fundamentals than why people still wrestle on religion? How do we make them reliaze that only humanity is the biggest religion? शायद हमें कुछ ऐसा करना होगा जो उन्हें जड़ से हिला दे.

Exploring more on it.

Management Lesson from Akbar...!!

I got a chance to read a book "problem solving creatively at Birbal's way". This book is having all the tales which we might have heard from our elders as stories or probably seen in TV serials. In this book, at the end of every tale they have included management lesson which is quite good. Also, this book gives you messages that how to develop wisdom and become wise like Birbal and solve the problem using creative thinking.

Out of all, the last anecdote is very interesting. Akbar asked birbal “what make you such a wise and intelligent person”. Birbal divulged "I am observing the people and don't repeat their mistakes in my life." That made him wise, smart and intelligent person. That is really good way to learning new things.

After reading this book in the night, When next morning I waked up, I was thinking about the gist from this book. Suddenly it striked me that why did Birbal never try to acquire the position of Akbar? He is such a wise and an intelligent man. Is it because of Birbal's own ethics or Akbar is smart enough to handle person like Birbal? Asked few people around and they gave me good answer that "wise people never run for the position". But as per my thinking, this might not be very practical answer while living in today's world. Everyone is running to acquire higher positions. Let’s not dig much on this here. Lets look other way than Akbar taught us very good lesson which is not mentioned in the book. Akbar is teaching us that a person can be a master in limited fields but not in all. So, you might have to take the help of other experts to complete your work by giving them compensation or in lieu of something. Also, there is Another implicit message is that when you are taking work from other experts, you should know how to control them otherwise may be next day they will become master and you will turn into slave.

As an Individual it’s good to have qualities and thinking which birbal has, but Akbar's qualities are far superior as it teaches us core management lesson. May possible that all entrepreneurs or industrialists are following this.

Dr’s consultation which amazed me....!!!

Due to some sickness I consulted the doctor. So, I booked the appointment at Dr. B's clinic on Friday evening in Kandivali Branch. I reached there before 10 minutes with a thought in my mind that they will not make me to wait too long. But after watching TV for half an hour, they told me to meet the doctor. As soon as I entered into the room, the first question doctor asked me "how can I help you?”. I started explaining about my illness to them. They asked some more questions related to that. As I have to secure good marks in oral exam, giving very pleased and correct answer to all questions.

Bypass the difficult question asked in oral exam, but here no choice: "do you want to start the treatment than I will explain you about our payment plan?” surprised me a lot...! With mysterious face, thinking "I am here for a treatment not for investment plan" Without any amenable response from my side, she said that my cashier will explain to you about payment scheme. Till that moment, I know that only bank has a post called cashier. Suddenly, she stood up and called his cashier to explain the scheme.

After discussion, I managed to deny their plan and come out without enrolling into their scheme. On the way back, sarcastically I said "what a great doctor is she? Why doctor is doing like that? They have a greater responsibility of the society." I agree that it’s an arduous task to get this position but they can't deceive people like this. Also, for this kind of treatment, they charged us very fatty amount. People with lower income couldn't afford this. They somehow manage to afford, but kind of treatment will definitely upset them. I was really incensed and firmly decided that at least not to take consulting from this doctor. Also, I realized that Healthcare sector is deteriorating in India. After retiring home, I talked to my roommate about this bad experience. He said that try other clinic of same doctor in Borivali. I agreed with him and booked the appointment.

I thought that here I might get proper diagnosis of my problem. Immediately they took me in for consultation. Almost 45 mins the doctor did checked up, explained the problem and also how they will cure it. While concluding, the doctor explained about the treatment charges. I agreed with that so they sent to another doctor for second round of consultation. As soon as I entered into another doctor's cabin, literally flabbergasted. How can it be possible..? The same old doctor, to whom I met earlier in Kandivali clinic, was sitting inside the room. "Ohh God !! You can't play a game like this" I murmured. With artificial smile on my face, I entered into the room and took a sit. This time the consultation of doctor was very convincing and contented me upto a good extent. I envisage that the doctor was giving its best treatment due to remembrance of last incident. After coming out of the cabin, I had a big laugh and muttered that "GOD tussi great ho".

On the way back to home, I was worried about the healthcare sector and their charges. I detested the whole system and government. But when I was remembering that incident it amused me like anything.

defeating others !!..Vs...enrich our own self...!!

I read somewhere an anecdote on frog which inside the water well. The frog defeated other frogs inside the well and felt that it was the most superior in this world. The frog didn't know that it was on fool's paradise. One day, due to heavy rain frog got a chance to come out of that well, than seeing others it realized that it was no where in position with other frogs outside the well.

Here there is another example. Once, an athletic in Olympic won gold medals for continuous three years. The interviewer asked him "how do you manage your success?" "Do you have any fear from other competitors?” Then he divulged “I always compete with myself and improve myself each time”.” I always try to break the records of my previous performance".

In this world, everyone is running after their own aspirations. They put their immense efforts to achieve that. It is likely to happen that we started doing competition with others and try to defeat others i.e. may be in work, may be in vague argument and lot of other things. If we succeed to defeat them, we feel for a moment that today I have achieved something. Actually, we just made ourselves slightly better than them. That may stop us to grow further like that frog in the well, mentioned in above anecdote.

So,rather competing with others, ameliorate our own self to the higher level each time. Compete with our own self.
