Frightening medicine(pills)
Fear can be of any type. Many kinds of phobias are defined in lexicon, but not this one. :). Being an urchin, it’s always difficult for my mom to make me to understand things. It was a tense situation for every parent, when their son or daughter was suffering from illness in the childhood. It exacerbated in my case because I had a fear of swallowing medicine pills. Literary it was an impossible task for me and sometime it appeared as a nightmare to me. I had a fear that "if I try to swallow the pills than I will vomit everything out." The same phobia put me in embarrassing situation when I was out of my home and sick.
Not able to recall that what was the catalyst that prepared my mind to overcome this fear. When I was get ready to take my first pill independently, I uttered internally "swallowing pills is very small task, if you can't do this than how will you do big things in life". Than I swallowed the first pill independently without vomiting out and I had a feeling of some achievement. I learnt a big lesson from this incidents that fight with your fear. If you fight than you have created a chance for victory.
All have heard the punch line of Mountain Dew’s advertisement “Darr Ke Aagey Jeet Hain" -Indeed true.

Digitization at (Tapari) Tea Stall
Here the question is “why am I telling all this?” Because below informal conversation depends on it.
After few days, I went to the tapari(roadside tea stall) for a tea very near to my office. There, I met my colleagues of previous projects – A1, A2. We had a below conversation.
D said: “How are you - A1, A2? How is your project work going on?”
A2 said: “As usual, you know that …right ..!! (He knew that I was working in same project before).
D said: “So what is at your end A1?”
A1 said: “Everything is going good. Who cares much? ..I am planning for a long vacation.”
D said: “Ohhh… Really that’s good!! I am sure that you have already informed your boss about vacation plan.” (Trying to pull his leg, as getting long leave is a problem)
A1 said: “No yaar !!… My boss is already there in Chennai. (A1 is from Chennai). He went for some digitization of learning cell “(Here digitization is same as I have explained earlier).
A2 said: “D knows about it. He had been to Chennai for digitization of one course.”
A1said: “ Ohh Great!!! Tell me one thing…This is the same process in which you have to scan your presentation slides which are on papers (hard copy). …Is that Right? …!! “
D said: “No… Man..(Just surprised .and laughing… lol …!! ) It is not the scanning of the papers. It is a video recording of the course. So, that other people can take the course online for their learning.”
(Suddenly lots of thoughts arise in my mind. By thinking logically, I am sure that he is not pulling my leg because for scanning the paper we don’t have to go all the way to Chennai. :) . Another thought is that “Which engineering degree is he holding?” “Does he know about digitization or not?” But looking at his position in organization, couldn’t dared to ask that….lol…. :) “)
On the way back to office, I was thinking that other associates might have similar thinking like “A1” than till now I was in fool’s paradise. “There is no need to be happy due to this accolade and praising.” In a moment, my all happiness vanished.
For my ease, I asked my cube mates that weather they know “what is digitization?” .. … “ahhhh …Thank GOD !!…at least they know that" :)
Keep Smiling...!!!
When an unknown person smiles at you, what makes you smile back?
It happens that sometime at workplace you have a big argument with your boss regarding work assignment etc... The similar is happened with me few days back. After this predicament, I was marching towards home with disgruntle mind which was still thinking about all those contentious argument. Suddenly I had an eye contact with someone and that person smiled. :) I forgot everything and just smiled back. Immediately, I looked at the sideways to make sure that the person smiled at me and not at someone else. Thank God…. no one was around :). Than, I tried to recall the face as if I have a good memory power. But after few attempts, I concluded that I didn’t know that person. Suddenly, something twinkles in my mind that what does that make me smile back at unknown person as I was actually in very anguish mood.
May be we always looking for cheerful and jovial moments. As soon as we saw it, we forget all our worries, miseries and start cherishing into it.
So Keep Smiling…!!!! :)

Surrounding external environment....!!!
Does the same thing applicable when we already grown-up? Generally, everyone has a feeling that it really makes a difference as people uttered frequently this proverb, "one spoiled mango spoils other mangoes in the barrel". Look at this in a different way. If the spoiled mango has no intension to spoil others, than...?
My view says that environment is just a requirement which only create lots of impressions on you. As a person it’s up to you that to allow them in your inner environment or not. Everyone has to make their inner environment very sturdy and unbreakable. Thinking if the same tendency adapted by the spoiled mango than least chances to ameliorate itself. Actually your inner environment is created by your inner voice, so it is pure and exquisite at its instantiation. Sometimes, it might be possible that a layer of dust settled due to external environment. So be in any environment, but listen to your inner voice. Little absurd but its true that sometime the Inner voice has nothing to say :-)
Anticipating your views on this... :)

Ignite your mind ...not lungs..!!
Investigation for the instantiation of something is what I like. I searched "who has started this smoking?" Briefly, smoking tobacco- the herb was used for healing purpose as medicine initially. Later on they have started using as substance to fill into cigarettes and bidi. Researcher has pointed that it’s originated by our one and only Uncle Sam and propagated in different countries. For India, we can give this credit to Portuguese.
Thanks to our health minister Ramadoss that he has already announced ban on smoking from 2nd October in some public places. It will be a splendid gift to Mr. Gandhi - The Father of Nation, if this ban is not converted into moratorium. To support health ministry in this excellent initiative, private sector companies should contribute. One of the idea is that companies should stop hiring people who is smoking? – definitely the company’s CEOs should be a nonsmoker :). Even we can also contribute to some extent through forcing our smoker friends, colleagues and relatives to quit smoking.

Unintentional cursing..sometime appear as reality..!!
Here is real life example which happened with me few days back. On Friday evening, I was leaving for the railway station to catch the train and accidently I met my colleague in staircase of my office building. We had a small chat. Then, I said that "I am in a hurry and need to leave for station." He knew that biweekly I am going home. So, suddenly he said “yesterday the train was cancelled out due to some reason. May be today also it may happen than what will you do?" (He was laughing and trying to pull my leg ). I smiled back and continued with my journey towards station. As soon as I reached there, I have heard the announcement, "The train is cancelled ". That was really annoying situation for me. Immediately, I called up my colleague and asked him that did he know about train cancellation in well advance ? He said "No". Actually, he never cursed me deliberately. He is one of my well wishers.
Other similar incidents also happened with me. I have observing this from quite a long time but not able to find any absolute reason that why did it happen? May be it is just a coincident but when it happens, you can't resist yourself to curse that person back at least once...he he he :)

Slow Eaters...!!!
I am sure that other way is not true. I mean the people who are smart, intelligent, shrewd.etc not necessarily eat their meals very slowly.
If this observation is true than let me know. I will start eating slowly. So people can use some of these good adjectives for me till they know reality :-)
Reason(કારણ) In Life
વહેલી પરોઢે ઝબકીને વિચારતો હું, ક્યાં મળશે આ કારણ;
Code લખી લખીને થાક્યો હું, શોધી રહ્યો છું કોઈ કારણ;
હતો જ્યારે નાનો મને લાગતું, ઈચ્છાઓ બનશે મારુ કારણ;
રહી બાજુ એ નીકળ્યો આગળ હું, ફરી શોધવા કોઈ કારણ;
તલ્લીન બધાં આ રસિક દુનિયામાં, નથી જોઈતું કોઈને કોઈ કારણ;
કહે નાં સમજ શોધીશ નહીં સૃષ્ટિમાં, આવવાનું નથી કોઈ કારણ;
દિશાઓ બદલી, જગ્યાઓ બદલી, શોધવા માટે મૈ કોઈ કારણ;
મળ્યો જવાબ પહેલીવાર જગમાં, મજબૂરી પણ છે એક કારણ;
હતી ચાહના મારી દિલમાં, બની જાય મારું એ કારણ;
જણાવી દીધું એને પલકારામાં, શોધી નથી સકતી મારામાં એ કારણ;
અંહિ પૂરી કરું છું મારી કવિતા, એક ઊંડા નિઃસાસા સાથે;
લાગી જવું છે મારે પણ દોડમાં, જોઈતું નથી હવે કોઈ કારણ;

Imagine unique religion...
Someone has thought that if these sets of dogma and rituals are followed by people than it helps in creating community, brings people together and help in betterment of human life. But why they have created so many religions..? May be during humanity evolvement,Inhabitants from different regions or areas were not in contact with each others. So,they created dogmas for inhabitants in that regions.
But they never knew that after eons, their decedents are going to use religions as their own materialistic purpose, showing superiority and divide regions on basis of religions. Using a little envisagement, if they could have created only one religion across the world, might not lead us into troubles now. Might be absurd, but could be possible that Gurus or Gods of all the religions could have meet somewhere and finalize on unique religion. Also, they could have finalized the commandments and rituals that considered and followed under that unique religion.
Lets comeback in reality, because when things are already in placed than you can't demurred their instantiations rather put efforts to ameliorate it। Thinking that if every religion has same fundamentals than why people still wrestle on religion? How do we make them reliaze that only humanity is the biggest religion? शायद हमें कुछ ऐसा करना होगा जो उन्हें जड़ से हिला दे.
Exploring more on it.

Management Lesson from Akbar...!!
I got a chance to read a book "problem solving creatively at Birbal's way". This book is having all the tales which we might have heard from our elders as stories or probably seen in TV serials. In this book, at the end of every tale they have included management lesson which is quite good. Also, this book gives you messages that how to develop wisdom and become wise like Birbal and solve the problem using creative thinking.
Out of all, the last anecdote is very interesting. Akbar asked birbal “what make you such a wise and intelligent person”. Birbal divulged "I am observing the people and don't repeat their mistakes in my life." That made him wise, smart and intelligent person. That is really good way to learning new things.
After reading this book in the night, When next morning I waked up, I was thinking about the gist from this book. Suddenly it striked me that why did Birbal never try to acquire the position of Akbar? He is such a wise and an intelligent man. Is it because of Birbal's own ethics or Akbar is smart enough to handle person like Birbal? Asked few people around and they gave me good answer that "wise people never run for the position". But as per my thinking, this might not be very practical answer while living in today's world. Everyone is running to acquire higher positions. Let’s not dig much on this here. Lets look other way than Akbar taught us very good lesson which is not mentioned in the book. Akbar is teaching us that a person can be a master in limited fields but not in all. So, you might have to take the help of other experts to complete your work by giving them compensation or in lieu of something. Also, there is Another implicit message is that when you are taking work from other experts, you should know how to control them otherwise may be next day they will become master and you will turn into slave.
As an Individual it’s good to have qualities and thinking which birbal has, but Akbar's qualities are far superior as it teaches us core management lesson. May possible that all entrepreneurs or industrialists are following this.

Dr’s consultation which amazed me....!!!
Bypass the difficult question asked in oral exam, but here no choice: "do you want to start the treatment than I will explain you about our payment plan?” surprised me a lot...! With mysterious face, thinking "I am here for a treatment not for investment plan" Without any amenable response from my side, she said that my cashier will explain to you about payment scheme. Till that moment, I know that only bank has a post called cashier. Suddenly, she stood up and called his cashier to explain the scheme.
After discussion, I managed to deny their plan and come out without enrolling into their scheme. On the way back, sarcastically I said "what a great doctor is she? Why doctor is doing like that? They have a greater responsibility of the society." I agree that it’s an arduous task to get this position but they can't deceive people like this. Also, for this kind of treatment, they charged us very fatty amount. People with lower income couldn't afford this. They somehow manage to afford, but kind of treatment will definitely upset them. I was really incensed and firmly decided that at least not to take consulting from this doctor. Also, I realized that Healthcare sector is deteriorating in India. After retiring home, I talked to my roommate about this bad experience. He said that try other clinic of same doctor in Borivali. I agreed with him and booked the appointment.
I thought that here I might get proper diagnosis of my problem. Immediately they took me in for consultation. Almost 45 mins the doctor did checked up, explained the problem and also how they will cure it. While concluding, the doctor explained about the treatment charges. I agreed with that so they sent to another doctor for second round of consultation. As soon as I entered into another doctor's cabin, literally flabbergasted. How can it be possible..? The same old doctor, to whom I met earlier in Kandivali clinic, was sitting inside the room. "Ohh God !! You can't play a game like this" I murmured. With artificial smile on my face, I entered into the room and took a sit. This time the consultation of doctor was very convincing and contented me upto a good extent. I envisage that the doctor was giving its best treatment due to remembrance of last incident. After coming out of the cabin, I had a big laugh and muttered that "GOD tussi great ho".
On the way back to home, I was worried about the healthcare sector and their charges. I detested the whole system and government. But when I was remembering that incident it amused me like anything.

defeating others !!..Vs...enrich our own self...!!
I read somewhere an anecdote on frog which inside the water well. The frog defeated other frogs inside the well and felt that it was the most superior in this world. The frog didn't know that it was on fool's paradise. One day, due to heavy rain frog got a chance to come out of that well, than seeing others it realized that it was no where in position with other frogs outside the well.
Here there is another example. Once, an athletic in Olympic won gold medals for continuous three years. The interviewer asked him "how do you manage your success?" "Do you have any fear from other competitors?” Then he divulged “I always compete with myself and improve myself each time”.” I always try to break the records of my previous performance".
In this world, everyone is running after their own aspirations. They put their immense efforts to achieve that. It is likely to happen that we started doing competition with others and try to defeat others i.e. may be in work, may be in vague argument and lot of other things. If we succeed to defeat them, we feel for a moment that today I have achieved something. Actually, we just made ourselves slightly better than them. That may stop us to grow further like that frog in the well, mentioned in above anecdote.
So,rather competing with others, ameliorate our own self to the higher level each time. Compete with our own self.
