Visit to Sea Link.. Mumbai..

Reading Economic Times analysis with numbers and figures helps you to imagine that how India is growing. But, if you want to see the actual growth then Sea Link is the best example to help you to compare those numbers with actual reality.

At the first moment, it’s really wondrous to me that such an excellent infrastructure is possible in India. Because I saw couple of links in western country and I thought when are we reaching to this level? But today the day, I can say proudly that we leap much faster and will definitely reach to appropriate level as per our capability.

I would say it is real example of excellent architecture and infrastructure growth in India.
Due to heavy rain, I couldn’t capture it into my camera.

On the contrary side, when I think then we realize that human always did expansion and growth on the cost of losing something which is very invaluable and important. While building such kind of bridge, if you imagine, how many sea creatures had been affected, died because of that. Also, lots of chemicals and lots of hard material dumped into the sea to just realize our dream and make our stand in world class infrastructure.

Till this time, we are limited to land, now we have started penetrating into the sea also.

I have read somewhere that the sea link built to reduce some amount of time while travelling between suburbs. But if you see from the high level perspective then we are actually reducing the amount of time for the calamity to strike on us. Also, we are making that process much faster.

Its already late, Bridge is already up and ready for inauguration.

Su Do Ku - Puzzle

I really enjoy filling Su-Doku Puzzle. It’s really wonderful. Every morning, I do that while reading the news paper.

But one thing I have noticed about this game that whenever you realized that you have made a mistake in the puzzle, you can’t find out at which particular previous step you have made that exactly. Also when you are filling the puzzle in correct manner, you can’t trace the return path until and unless you are keeping a note about your each step. So, when you have made the mistake and also you haven’t kept the note of the previous step, then actually you have to start from the scratch. :) :)

Ohhh… Today, I realized that Su Do Ku puzzle is teaching us some lesson too. :) :) :)

Password Phobias..!!

Have you ever thought how many passwords we are using in our day to day life?

Suppose say you login into the computer, login into the bank account, ATM machine and almost everywhere we need a password.

If you count in a daily basis then average 8-9 passwords we are using.

For me it sometime difficult to remember all those passwords, so I write them in one file and use it whenever requires. Only smart people do that way... :): P

Whenever it expires, we require some special creative skill to think a lot that what will be my next password.

As a human tendency, we usually keep our password with related to someone or with some incidents (of course our birthday is also one incident or an accident: P) i.e. Our father’s name, brother’s name, birthday, anniversary date and with little manipulation.

Also there is constraint like if you have used the password once in a system, sometimes don’t allow you to use it again (depends upon the system). On top of that, we have already tried almost our entire family person’s name for the password (no one left), because no one should feel of injustice.

Here one incident which describes that even password policy makers feeling the same phobia.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once, I was sitting with my Security Manger. (Security Manager of our Office who’s mainly responsibility to look after the security policy related to computer and media). Suddenly, He forgot his password and asking his colleague that what password he kept it for his machine?

I saw that he is also suffering from the password phobia.

After that, He started criticising about “why too many passwords”?
I wonder because he is the chief in designing the security policy for the organization and asking about his own password to his colleague. : P.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Any how, we all are experiencing this password phobias and some or other way we are managing that.

As we grow in this digital world, security is the one major aspect which we mainly have to focus. We will get little relaxation when the movie like Minority Report becomes actual reality where everything is accessible through your eyes or finger print as a password.

Random thoughts...

Today early morning I have started writing on some topic with all my supportive thoughts. Suddenly, one thought passed through my mind that “how others will look at this thought?”

I have observed many times that when it happens, your writing is become really uninteresting and monotonous. Actually it’s very disturbing and pressurizing you, so I was searching for the answer that why it is happening like that.

What I can understand, it is just because you consciously putting your efforts for an ostentation. So in this process it’s lost its creative touch.

Because of that your writing turns out as an artificial accident and you want everyone to look at that with a great surprise.

World Environment Day (WED)

I was going through my previous posts and I saw that I have covered many occasions and religious festivals where we were celebrating them with our family and friends or in public.

Today also some particular day. Every newspaper, news channel and even many emails has been broadcasted to people telling significance of this day.

While writing this post, I am very much confusing that weather it’s a day of celebration or its day of sorrow. Of Course it’s not a death day or birth day of any big saint or Mahatma or freedom fighter.

Today it’s 5th June “World Environment Day”. The theme for WED 2009 is 'Your Planet Needs You-Unite to Combat Climate Change'.

Everybody has heard about the climate change on some or other way. But we all are confused that what we can do. Actually, everyone knows that what they should do for saving energy, saving water, to save trees, to save wild life and many more things. – But everyone is waiting for others to initiate.

There are many preachers around the world. Let’s not target to preach the reader in this post but at least you should know how we are harming our planet one or other way in our daily life.

Below are some of my observation that I would like to share with you.
  • In the canteen, all are happily eating “Chicken Liver Masala.” – I was bit worried about my Liver – because when there will be no chicken around then they will start eating human's Liver.
  • People are cutting trees on the “World Environment Day” itself. -- They don’t have any kind of shame that they can atleast keep holiday on this particular day.
  • Someone said if we will not use the plastic bags then we have to throw the plastic bags into the dustbins which are already produced…. what a wonderful thought.
  • Someone said “I will plant few more trees. Right now let me use the Paper Napkin.”
  • Someone said that my New Year resolution is to use public transport while going to office – But they didn’t tell that they are considering Auto rickshaw and Taxi into the public transport.

Like this there are many other incidents you can observe in your day to day life.

So, you can contribute in this global fight against climate change by just making small change in your life style.

Actually, telling about global warming and climate change is never ending story, but I will summarize here by asking only 3 questions which might ignite the fire in you.

If not earth…. Where?

If not now….. When?

If not you…....Who?

Is Everything Written....?

Why we believe,it's already written;
Why we accept, it’s as per written;

Why can’t we change, which is written;
Why don’t we know in advance, what is written;

Why everyone keep saying,everything is written;
Why can't we write, before someone says, it’s written;
