Ah, thats easy. Whenever you do something original, 'they' will quickly proclaim it a mistake!
So just be original. Original mistake accomplished!
(OK sounds a bit Fountainheadish, which I am rereading for the first time. No rereading and first time are not contradictory. I mean't it. My originality. Some may find it an original mistake ;) )

Sometimes whenever you do something original, it will be seen as a mistake by others but it may not be true in your perception..atleast not everytime.
The meaning which I want to convey is that don't do repetition of other's mistakes in your life...So your mistakes should be unique one.
Ofcourse,for that we might have to learn from others mistakes..So,we might have to read bunch of books like "3 Mistakes of my life"..errr...!!! :) :)
